Introduction:

The Shared IT Team is a collaborative effort between the
12 Developmental Services Area Agencies and the Division's IT
Task Force.  The IT professionals and Task Force members 
will meet monthly to work on specific goals as defined by the 
Technical Baseline.  Once they have completed those specific 
goals, they will focus on other areas where IT initiatives would 
be best accomplished through collaboration.

Project Update:

• Jim Connell attended the 5.9.03 meeting with a presentation
  on the NHID/DUCK map tool.

• Work will resume on the HIPAA policies and procedures that 
  this team can work and collaboration with the Statewide 
  HIPAA task force is necessary.
